Online Payment Solutions for Sudan.. OK is good enough!

I tell you no secret.. our unannounced online service which will be launched next Monday will depend entirely on a payment solution we've developed especially for that purpose.

No one can argue that the absence of an online payment solution for Sudanese websites is holding us back thanks to the American sanctions on Sudan. Sudanese citizens can't use international credit cards like Visa or MasterCard or have accounts on sites like Paypal or MoneyBookers, all doors are closed!

I've witnessed the death of many great ideas for e-comm websites for many young and ambitions Sudanese youths. It's a really sad situation and the Sudanese Gov is not helping as well at least by providing a local payment gateway, i don't know why it is taking them too long to resolve the issue?!

Anyway i think our simple solution to this problem is not perfect but it's OK! And that is quite good enough for now!

UPDATE: After 2 years of writing this post we finally have proper online payment solution in Sudan, now Sudanese citizens can use thier ATM cards on the internet. We at Softwex adopted it on October, 6 2013.

As long as it is secure then I guess OK is acceptable. I am with you that many ideas have vanished due to the absence of online payment methods. Good luck and let us see how well it goes.

Most of the online paid surveys are US based and are open to US residents only. A lot of them are scams and ask for payment to register. If anybody could provide genuine sites (open to Canada residents), that would be great. Thanks for sharing the useful information.
